To Be The Church

This week at LifePoint we launched a 63-day visionary initiative called To Be The Church. This initiative is a step of faith that we are taking together as a church to grow in unity and accomplish a number of needed projects at LifePoint.

There are so many things that we could do and that we will do together as a church family in the future, but To Be The Church is the first major strategic step toward those ends. As we pray, fast, give, and build over the next 61 days, leading into Easter Sunday, we will not only accomplish some visible things that we have been putting off for a number of years, but we will also experience God accomplishing something in us as we align in unity around a gospel-centered vision. Put succinctly, To Be The Church is about expanding our ability as a church to equip the church.

We have experienced tremendous growth as a church over the last 3+ years, but we aren’t solely concerned with more people attending on Sundays. We have been called to glorify God as a community being transformed by Jesus Christ. We haven’t been called simply to gather a bigger crowd. To Be The Church will increase our ability to equip and train our people to be the church in Clark County and beyond.

You can track progress, get updates, give, and delve into more specifics about this initiative at the To Be The Church website.
