Starting Point

starting pointIt’s been an awesome 2014 thus far at LifePoint. Through the first three Sundays of January we have had 83 first time guests, including over 50 who came out to our guest lunch last Sunday. This weekend we are welcoming a number of new members who have recently finished the process and are committing to join the church family.

If you are new, or you know someone who is, or if you simply want to learn more about LifePoint (perhaps to become a member), Starting Point is…well…the place you start. We have had a huge initial response to the class, forcing us to multiply our options. We are now offering it twice in the next 6 weeks, in two different settings. The first is the normal Sunday morning (9:30am) class, offered for 5 consecutive weeks. The second option is a one-day intensive format, being offered Saturday, March 1 from 9:30am-2:30pm. It is the same material in both formats.

In Starting Point you will find out all about LifePoint, our doctrine, church culture, leadership, vision, core values, and mission. You will have the opportunity to hear from pastors and elders and to ask any question that come to mind. It is one of my favorite classes to teach at LPC, and I’ll be able to be involved in both formats this time around. You can sign up for either class here.
