Ever Questioned God?

Have you ever questioned God?  Some say we shouldn’t dare.  But Habakkuk, a man who served as a mouthpiece of God for his people, wasn’t afraid to speak his mind to His creator.  Have you ever felt like this?

2O LORD, how long shall I cry for help, and you will not hear? Or cry to you “Violence!” and you will not save?  3 Why do you make me see iniquity, and why do you idly look at wrong? Destruction and violence are before me; strife and contention arise.  4 So the law is paralyzed, and justice never goes forth. For the wicked surround the righteous; so justice goes forth perverted.

[Habakkuk 1:2-4]

God had an answer for Habakkuk, and He also has an answer for you and me when we ask Him these questions.  Tomorrow morning at LifePointChurchwe will see God’s First Answer as we begin our series “Where’s Habakkuk?”  Don’t miss it!

Oh yes, I did, and then didn’t like the answer and went my own way. The result was complete disaster. If you are going to question Him, you better be prepared to accept His answer, what ever it may be!

Can’t wait to delve in–Sounds very timely!
